March 30, 2006—KETV reports that this spring and summer,Papillion Creek Watershed flood control will progressalong the metro area’s West Branch Papio Creek in Sarpy County. March 13, 2006—KETV reports that more flood control reservoirs are needed in the Papillion Creek Watershed. The 402-square-mile Papillion Creek Watershed is home to about 25 percent of Nebraska’s residents and is facing rapid urbanization of agricultural lands.
